Genworth Financial, Inc. today announced that it has priced a public offering of ten-year senior notes in an aggregate principal amount of $400 million and with an interest rate of 7.700 percent per year. Genworth intends to use $200 million of the net proceeds from this offering to repay $100 million of outstanding borrowings under each of its five-year revolving credit facilities and the remainder for general corporate purposes.
