The Board of Directors of Genworth Financial, Inc. today declared the initial quarterly dividend of $0.67813 per outstanding share of its Series A Cumulative Preferred Stock. The dividend is payable September 1, 2004, to holders of record as of the close of business on August 16, 2004.
